Last year's market was great, but we can make the holidays just that much more jolly with your help!
It would be easier for organizing if you could volunteer for a whole day at a time, but it's not a have-to, and you don't have to be available all four market dates.
If you are interested in volunteering, let us know what you interested in and when you can be there!
We will have a pot of soup , drinks and snacks in the backroom for volunteers. Holiday cheer goes better on a full stomach!
We are keeping our costs down and saving any overhead that might remain for donating to the Farm. But if you'd like to come out and sing or play for tips and CD sales, you're welcome to name the day and hours you'd like to claim!
To keep the kids waiting their turn in a line, and ideally entertained. :) If you have some sort of holiday outfit and can entertain children (juggling? magic trick? singing a song together?), Santa wants to hear from you!
There will be two tables set up to let kids make their own ornament to take home. Supplies include pre-drilled wooden ornament blanks, acrylic paint, paintbrushes, washable smocks, palettes, glue sticks and tiny pompoms. If you'd like to help kids think of ideas, or help them do something, or (especially!) keep the craft tables clean and organized, that would be great! Costumes would be fun, but very up to you.
ant to be in kids' holiday pictures? Is cosplay your thing? Curious about what it's like to be a character at Disneyland?
Santa will be here from 1-3 on all market dates, but we would love to have other holiday characters they can take pictures with if they miss Santa. We're really flexible...OK, maybe not Krampus, but just about anyone else. Frosty? Rudolph? Elsa? The Snow Queen? Scrooge? Elves? Jack Skellington as Santa? Sure! Whatever would be fun for you and kids!
