We're so happy to be back this year!! Truly, it is such a thrill to put together a holiday market that features nothing but Whidbey artists, craftspeople and authors, with their own handmade creations. And because we have such an amazing and wide variety of makers that call Whidbey Island home, it's always something different on each market day!
We carefully curate our market to showcase as many different things as we can fit in one place. :) Nobody will have the same things. We won't have more than a handful of jewelers at once (or candlemakers, or woodworkers, or anything for that matter). A trip to our holiday market is never boring!
We're getting visits from both Santa and Krampus for photos, and there will be a free ornament-making station for the kids. :)
Wonderful! The more, the merrier as far as we're concerned. We are looking for:
VENDORS: if you live on the island and make your own arts or crafts, or write your own books, or [fill in the blank here], and you'd like to bring your creations to our market, please contact us using the button below! Only items you make yourself are accepted (pre-made parts are fine to a degree, but the item should be mostly something you've crafted yourself - simple assembly does not count).
You do not need to be here all four market days - in fact, we're looking for a variety of vendors! If you can only make one day, fantastic! One weekend? Great. Only Fridays? Super! Fudge makers and the like will be the exception we encourage to be here all dates, but even that's not a requirement.
Booths are either 10 W x 8 D along the wall, or 10 W x 5 D in the center. Some wall booths have electricity, and those goods that require electricity to vend will get priority. Promise we are going to have a *bunch* of twinkly lights! Feel free to bring a small battery to run LED lights at your booth. Chairs are available, but you'll need to bring everything else - tables, covers, credit card swiper, bags, etc.
There is no percentage to the house. Booths are a flat rate, and basic liability is included.
10x8 booths are $40 Friday, 60 Saturday, or 90 for a weekend.
10x5 booths are $30 Friday, 45 Saturday or 65 for a weekend.
We are most definitely open to outside booths if you want to talk about it! Especially if you want to vend hot chocolate or hot food, real pine wreaths or the like.
To put in an application to be juried, please use the Contact Us button below and tell us about what you do. We'll ask for pictures of what you plan to bring. Know that, because we don't allow the same thing to be at the same show, we might ask that you limit certain types of offerings or pick different dates, depending on what has already been accepted.
CHARITIES
Would you like to set up a booth to accept donations? Let's chat about it! Your charity should have a 501c3, and what you collect should go to local residents only for a holiday-related cause. You're welcome to wrap presents for cash donations, or sell cocoa or food, just not arts & crafts. You can also just have a box for donated items!
Please also note that we're having an event just for non-profits on Saturday, November 23rd, if you'd rather do something then.
MUSICIANS, CHOIRS, PERFORMERS OF ALL KINDS
Interested in busking with us for CD sales and tips? We'd love to have you there!
ELVES AND A BACKUP SANTA
Our Santa may be in the Langley parade, so we'd love to have either a Santa or elves to take pics with the kids! We'd also love a couple of volunteers for the ornament making station to help kids make their ornaments (and keep things on the tidy side). Any holiday costume is welcome!
