Now that the summer is over and we're winding down from all the busyness and activity, this is a great time to pick up a yoga class, find a massage therapist, try out reiki, or whatever works best for you and your needs! Meet local practitioners all in one place and learn about what they do.
We might be able to fit in a small food event to celebrate the harvest season, too!
Saturday, September 21 from 10-4
5642 Bayview Road
Langley, WA 98260
1) Live and work on Whidbey Island?
2) Provide healing arts services, craft supplies for them, or locally create health-related food/drink products?
First, this is a juried event.
The inside of the Hall will consist of 10'W x 8'D spaces along the walls (electricity available, $50), and 10'W x 5' D spaces in the center of the room (no electricity, $40). Setup takes place from 8-10 am.
We also ask for a donation of an item or gift certificate retailing for $20 or less, which will be auctioned or raffled off at our non-profit event on November 23. Basic event liability insurance is included in the fee, but have proof of your own insurance if you plan to offer massage or other services at the event.
Vendors will need to provide all their own tables and display infrastructure. The Hall has plenty of chairs.
The Hall's floor is real wood, so all precautions should be taken to keep it in good condition! Don't drag anything across the floor. If you have furniture legs or anything sitting on the floor that might scratch, bring something to put underneath it. If you have anything that might spill, put down a tarp and put your items inside a plastic tub of some kind. There are multiple entrances with a few steps to climb, and a single ramp in the front of the Hall.
Contact us and tell us about what you do! Final decisions will be made no later than August 10.
The State of Washington requires a temporary sales tax certificate if you're only selling at 1-2 events a year, and this does include flea markets. More information can be found at https://dor.wa.gov/open-business/business-types/temporary-businesses.
The organizer will not require a copy of your certificate.
No music is allowed unless it's what you're selling, and it isn't disturbing other vendors. Headphones are suggested.
The organizer (that would be us) is not part of Bayview Hall management, and they cannot help with any questions you have about the event. Please use the Contact Us form if you need to speak to us.
